Beauty / Skincare Wish List - July 2015

Sorry for the hiatus, life has been a little crazy but I'm back with a classic of mine, a monthly beauty / skincare wishlist for July. I sadly missed June as i didn't find anything really i wanted so here is July's version:

Off the Wishlist

ST Tropez Gradual In Shower Tan - £14.50 - This came on offer last month so I had to pick this up and i have to say this is excellent, it leaves a lovely gradual tan and is way easier than some of their other products which I find streak. The only thing i will say is, do not leave it longer than recommended.  I sadly missed a few blobs of this on my feet and the dark tan spot is still there.

On the Wishlist:

Max Factor Clump Defying Mascara - £10.99 - I have heard quite a few people rave about this Mascara and as someone who loathes those thick clumpy lashes, I think this product is one i need to try. I also do like the look of the wand, which is one shape i have used on other mascara's and loved.

Tangle Teezer Compact hair brush - £12.25 - I love compact brushes and as the tangle teezer is a high rated brand, i would love to see what the fuss is about. As i am going on holiday in September, i want as many compact things to take, so i think this would be ideal for my travels and will ensure i don't have any damaged bristles like i have with other brushes.

Loreal Tecni Art Full Volume Extra Moose - £11.49 - As i plan to change the style of my hair soon, i would love to give my hair some volume as i do it. I saw youtube Estee from Essiebutton use this and as i have had so many problems with moose, i think the nozzle on this would make moose applying so much easier.

Pixi Make up Fixing Mist - £16.00 - I love when make up lasts all day and these little saviours in a bottle seem to do the trick, so i will add this to my wishlist simply on that basis.

BY TERRY - Ombre Black Star Eyeshadows £29.00 These are all the trend at the moment and a complete dreamy wishlist item that i will never buy purely because of how expensive it is. I love the Kiko ones which are miles more affordable and would love to see how they compare.

Beauty / Skincare Wishlist - April 2015

Another month passes, another wishlist is upon us. I completely missed last month, as I did take a little shopping haul which cleared a few things i really did want in March. I wasn't too successful in buying much from my last two wish lists from January and February, however i have crossed two items off the list.

Off my Wishlist

Clinique Moisture Surge 50ml - £34.00 - In February i decided i really wanted this moisturiser and after my Dr Organic moisturiser is on it's last few scoops i felt i could finally justify buying the full size of this. I feel in love after using my travel size sample up and i wanted to use this more as my main moisturiser as it seems a lot better than my previous. I really love how this feels on my skin and it really keeps it from being dry.

La Roche Posay Serozinc- £8.50 - As i am sure you have seen, i did knock this off my January list a while ago now and i am loving it. Whenever i get a break out i spray this and it helps with the aid of getting rid of them. I am thrilled we can get this product here now. It's brilliant.

New Additions to my Wishlist

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara - £19.50 - I have heard and seen the hype, but because i've been so busy with work, i completely forgot to pick up the magazine with the sample of this mascara! ARGH! So it looks like i shall have to get my hands on the full size. I have heard this is brilliant at giving full last curls which is something i would love to add to my mascara mix. I have recently been trying the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara and noticed that it seems i am getting way less fall out than the Benefit They're Real Mascara so i am keen to try this and see if it is better than it's top selling rival.

First Aid Beauty Radiance Pads - £22.00 - Everyone keeps mentioning these and i keep meaning to try these. I think these would make cleaning your face so much easier and i do love first aid beauty because it's great for sensitive skin.

OPI Avoplex Cuticle Oil to go - £10.50 - With winter on it's way out, i really need to fix my nails and this has come highly recommended so i really need to get hold of this to help sort them out so i can enjoy putting on nail polish more often on my nails.

Redken Hair Cleansing Cream 300ml - £11.25 - I do notice with having shorter hair that product does tend to build a little in my hair at some point during the week and i do find it hard to get rid of it. I've heard of clarifying shampoo's but there isn't a huge range yet on the market, i am assuming they are a new thing? I have used Redken products before and really liked them so i think this one will be the next on my list to use once a week in between my normal washes.

All-in-one Body Shop BB Cream - £12.00 - After a failed attempt at finding a good BB which fitted my skin tone, I am still keen to find one. I have heard this body shop is great, and not just that, the shades are really bendable and don't look too dark. I think i will pick these up before i go on holiday this summer.

Avene Cicalfate Repair Cream 40ml - £7.50 - As you may well know i suffer from Eczema, and the repair stage is one of the hardest, especially the eczema on my hands, which has been the worst i have ever had it. I am trying to use non-steroid methods and this looks like it may help with the repair of my skin.

And there you have it, my wish list items for this month. What items are you wishing for?

Kiko Make Up Haul

After coming across Kiko in Italy, I have always wanted to create my own eyeshadow palette with their infinity and infinity and sparkle eyeshadows and try the Universal Fit foundation. I decided to order this online because if you know the store and it's layout, you really get sucked into the eyeshadows and literally want to buy one in every shade you love. A good thing and a bad thing all in one go.

The palette was really easy to put together, it has a new system called the Clic system, which i have to say is a very typical but genius Italian trait and it makes it so much easier to create a palette. I really love this feature as i feel they are a lot easier to create than the mac palettes. The mac palette lid is a lot more flimsy and sometimes to me it feels like the little decanted eyeshadows will fall out.

Sadly one eyeshadow came to me damaged but Kiko have give me a voucher (more than i paid for the eyeshadow!) so i can spend to get a new one and for some reason I couldn't count and ordered one eyeshadow too short. However i am very happy with the colours. I went for more a neutral pink tone as for me i really think pinky tones suit my eyes as I am very fair. I think my next colour will lean more towards the brown.

The shades are extremely pigmented and very affordable, I picked these in the sale for £2.80 each, £2.80 in their current sale! These are usually £5.90 each which by MAC standards these are currently at the minute way way less than the MAC which retail at £10.00 for de-potted or £15.00 for potted eyeshadows.

I will for deffo be heading over there on payday to spend my voucher and pick up some more colours.

The Universal Fit hydrating foundation is also an amazing product and after seeing this one mentioned around the internet i had to pick it up. It currently retails at £6.90. I got this in the sale at £5.60 and i love it, the formula is spot on for my skin and it blends in so well. It feels more like a bb or cc cream than a foundation. I think this has really brought back my love for liquid foundations. Bar the MAC Studio Fix, foundation for me is a hit and miss, a lot of them never suit me, cling to my dry patches and don't last long. You won't be disappointed because the Universal Fit one has nailed it.

Since i will be going back to Italy to holiday this year, if i find a Kiko store (even though we do have one near where i live!), I don't think i'll be coming out of it for QUITE some time.

You can pick these up on Kiko's website or stores which are now across (and coming across) the UK.

Products of the Month - Sleek Blush trio's and Tanya Burr Lipglosses

I've been really impressed by Sleek and by Tanya Burr's Lip-glosses, their fantastic low price and high quality Is beyond impressive and because of that i have chosen these as my products of the month.

The two palettes featured were the first two that sleek produced and have gone on to make more shades.

The Pink Lemonade palette has been on my wishlist to get for this year and I was lucky to be gifted it and I cannot be more impressed. The colour pay off is perfect for these winter months and my face looks beautifully flushed. Two of the blushes are a matt finish and the middle is cream, this is a great starter palette for anyone who is not sure how they feel about cream blush but is a current lover of the matt finish.
The Califon.I.A this is my second palette as i used the other and hit pan last summer. This is cream blush heaven, with one matt blush, these are perfect for when you are out in the heat and the cream blush makes it easy to apply and doesn't sit heavy on the face. The colour pay off gives you the perfect summer glow.

The quality of the packaging is really great, a little hard to open which is great for these little fingers who dare to ruin your make up and they ensure no dirt and dust can get in. They also both come with a HUGE mirror which is perfect for application.

I cannot speak highly of these palettes and are a must for all beauty lovers. They are currently £9.99 at Superdrug and Boots.

The Tanya Burr Lip Glosses have also been a favourite of mine this month. They are such high quality for such a low price and come in soo many shades. I currently own three of the shades from her collection.

Champagne Toast is one i ordered because i saw Tanya wore it in a video, and then became confused by it. The shade does look a little off putting and didn't look at all like the one in her video, but as soon as i applied it, i knew it was perfect. The shade looks dark but in fact it is very nude with sparkle. Perfect for a party i was going to at the time and i got so many compliments.

Just peachy is a new one i was gifted this christmas and again this looks beautiful. It is a really lovely nude like pink which really compliments my skin tone, again i wasn't sure on the shade when i first swatched it, but on my lips it looks perfect.

Aurora is my favourite of the three and as soon as i saw this on Tanya's Lips in a video i just had to have it. It is the perfect shade for my lips and is a beautiful pink glittery colour. My lips are naturally quite pink, hence my hesitation with just peachy and this one accents them so well and gives them the perfect sparkle.

I love the consistency of these lip glosses and the smell is soo lovely, they literally smell like strawberry laces, which is so perfect. So many people love skincare for their smell but when your lipgloss or lip balm smell you are instantly happy. I haven't yet found the terrible tackiness you get with some lip glosses which is fantastic for those windy days.

You can find these at £6.99 at Superdrug, Feelunique and cloud10 beauty.

Beauty Product / Skincare Wishlist - Jan 2015

There are so many products out there and there are a few I wish to try and get my hands on this year. This list is some of the items I hope to try out and purchase this year.

Clinique Take the day off Cleansing Balm - £22.00 - I love the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm which retails for £36.00 but this year as I am hoping to pass my driving test I am looking for cheaper alternatives for my skincare which are rated just as good. This cleansing balm has had a lot of hype and being £14 cheaper I will be picking this up once my Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm has left my mits.

ZOEVA - Golden Luxury Brush Set - €65 - At the moment I have so many odd brushes and i really need a complete set and a lot of these brushes are just what i need. I will be saving for this set this year, the quality and price is very good in comparison with the sigma brush sets which can set you back a good £100+. Hopefully having this set too will allow me to purchase less odds and end brushes from Eco Tool and the Basic Real Techniques brushes which I seem to ruin in a year or so.

La Roche Posay Serozinc - £8.50 - IT'S FINALLY COMING TO THE UK!!! This will most likely be one of my first purchases of the year and as i adore La Roche Posay as a brand i cannot wait to get my hands on this. I love Toner's and Mists and lately I have started to look at using these more and more so this product will fit right into my collection.

Naked and the Naked Two Palette's - £37.00 - Yes they break your bank but these Palette's are amazing. I own the third one but I feel a little lost with it. It works a lot on some of my other palettes like my sleek palette and my lose colours but i feel having these two would really allow me to use number three to the max. If i only get one of these this year i would be very happy.

Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask £23.00 - This is an unrealistic dream for a mask this year because of the price, however we can all have wishes right? I adore Charcoal mask's and I would love to give this one a try. I currently use the boots bionics one and i am in love with it, it really clears up my skin and i would like to see what the differences are between that and this Origins one.

Origins Make a Difference Plus+ moisturiser - £34.50 - I have been looking for a new Moisturiser to try and this one looks like it could be the perfect one for me, the reviews i have read are perfect for my skin type. I feel that my skin would heal quicker with this as compared to my Dr Organic Moisturiser which is good but i feel at times it takes a while to heal my dry skin. Expensive but most good Moisturiser's are. I think more than the mask i will be definitely saving up for this one this year.

Sleek Blush Palette In Pink Lemonade  £9.99 - I have this set in California and i absolutely love it, however i really would love this set more for the winter months as the California set is more of a summer colour set. The shades in this are perfect and have two shimmer matte shades and the middle is a cream finish. I love Sleek Blushes, in my opinion the best on the market so expanding the small collection i have would be perfect with this set.

L'oreal Paris True Match Foundation £9.99 - I feel like i am still after the path to find the perfect budget liquid foundation and this one for sure is next on my list. I always have issues with finding the perfect shade and something that will last more than a few hours. I have heard this is a great dupe for the Georgio Armani Foundation which is way out of my price range, so I think this one will have to enter into my life to test out my highly critical liquid foundation ways.

Dove Pure Dry Oil Shampoo - £5.99 - I am still on the quest to find the perfect shampoo and i have heard a lot about this dove range. I have a lot of issues with shampoo and i can never find the right one for me, they either make my hair go brittle or too greasy, i think drying one with an oil formula may fix this issue so i think i'll give this dove one a good try this year.

And these items are on my wishlist, if i am lucky to get my mit's on these item i am sure i will review these on my blog. I will repost a wishlist throughout the year as I discover new products that strike my attention. In the mean time, What are you're wish list items for this year? Leave me a comment below :)

My 2014 Beauty and Skincare Favourites

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015!

I hope you are having a good one or have had a fantastic new years eve. To end the year I thought it was time to talk about my 2014 favourites. I apologies for this picture, for some reason, adding lighting makes your bedding look really strange when taking pictures. However let us press on to the favourites.

BEAUTY

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush  - This brush is not the easiest to clean, however for the price it is an excellent Brush for liquid foundation. It blends the foundation perfectly in the skin and doesn't leave streaky marks like some cheaper brushes do. I have tried a number of brushes for foundation and this seems to be the best one out their, the foundation brush in this range should be scrapped over this one as it does nothing for blend ability.

Sleek Make Up Blush in the Shade Coral - I am sorry for how grubby the outer packaging looks on my picture but it is my most loved blush and my favourite of 2014. I feel this blush is a good all rounder for the year and very good value for money. Not just that the sleek blush line is amazing and expansive, If this colour isn't for you, you will find one in their range that hits the mark for you. To me this is a dark Coral tone which gives you enough pigmentation to work with. It easily allows you  brush it on very lightly to give a natural looking flush look in the summer and in the winter you can make it a little darker for that cold winter flush. I have been using this blush all year round and I have loved it. It's really been the perfect shade for me this year.

Benefit Gimmie Brow in Light / Medium - Oh wow, this is one amazing brow product. I was a bit late to this game and after rave reviews I caved and purchased it and by gosh do i not regret it. Whenever my brows are looking really worst for wear, this baby comes out leaps and bounds to sort them out. The little brush allows you to get in between those fine hairs and makes your brows look so natural, filling in those really hard to get to gaps. I use this mostly after my eyebrows have just been done to maintain the shape.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Medium -  I won't go on too much because ever blogger in the world has commented how good this is, i will say though i have tried a lot of concealers this year from Rimmel, Boujois, Maybelline and Revlon and not one of these has matched up to it. I may have to dip into the make up savings account for the NARS Radiant Creamy concealer at some point to see what the hype is about as that is one that gets raved about more than this one. However this is a cracking buy for concealer.

Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Champagne Toast - These lip glosses are so far one of the best products from any youtuber this year. This one smells and looks fantastic on the lips, it is a nude shade with sparkle and looks fantastic for any event. The gloss glides on perfectly and is not really sticky like some lip glosses i have had in the past and i rarely get my hair stuck on it. I do love this shade a lot as well as Aurora from this range. I have yet to try any of the new shades but i am sure to get my mit's on some of those.

Soap and Glory Archery Brow Tint and Pencil in Brownie Points - For a cheaper alternative to the Gimmie Brow, this one really saves the day. I love this because it tints the eyebrow with the pen side and with the waxy side, you can easily shape the brow and fill in any gaps the pen misses. I tend to use this when my eyebrows just need a little touch up.

Benefit They're Real Mascara  - I do love this Mascara as much as last year and i have only found the models co mascara that at all. This mascara makes your lashes look curly and volumised. The mascara is very easy to apply, it does however take a little bit of getting off, however for the curl and volume is gives, totally work that extra work to get it off.

Soap and Glory The Lid Stuff Eyeshadow - I've honestly reached for this little palette more than i have my naked palette this year, which will come as a shock. this little palette is perfect for a quick on the go look. I mainly use this for when i go to work because of how basic it is, i can happily wear this and still feel great with my look because it contains all you need for a professional eyeshadow look. The palette has excellent pigmentation and has a white shade for the base, brow and inner conners, a light peach tone for the lid and two brown shades which you can blend together, one has more of a glitter effect for over the top of the solid brown shade. All you need in four shades.

Bare Minerals Original SPF 15 Foundation - I have become a recent fan of bare minerals and honestly it's become the only thing i like using. The coverage is flawless, the finish is perfect and it looks like you aren't wearing any foundation. I did think a powder foundation would be difficult to apply but i do find it easier to apply than a lot of liquid foundations. I would recommend everyone who is a sceptic to try this and you would be surprised.

SKINCARE

Botanics Shine Away Clay Mask -  A great affordable mask that i have been loving this year. This mask has really kicked my spots and blemishes to the curb whenever my face starts to break out. The mask is easy to apply and easy to wash off the face. This is a top mask and really good value for money. This one has really been a great staple to my summer mask routine.

Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed Self Heating Deep Poor Detox Mask - I love this mask more for the winter months as it really does warm up your face and really keeps deep into the pours and claws the dirt out. I love the self heating beads the most and when you have had a rough day and all you want to do is feel cosy and warm and need to clean your face, this product is perfect.

Dr Organic Rose Otto Night Cream - I love this natural moisturiser and I haven't found anything else that I like, like it. This makes my skin feel positively flourished after use and it helps keep my blemishes at bay as I sleep. The smell of this does smell a little old fashioned, a bit like pot popery.

Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Jelly - Oh this is marvellous, i alternate this with my moisturiser and my skin feels so hydrated. I suffer from dry skin from time to time and this is the only thing that rectify's it.

Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisturising Facial Serum  -  It was my favourite last year and has been my favourite this year. In pair with the moisture jelly, this makes my skin so hydrated and soft and gives it new life. I have noticed when i don't use a serum my face does break out for a little while so i will keep using this as well as another serum to alternate out. This is one amazing product, believe the hype.

Balance Me Radiance Face Oil - This is one of the best facial oils around and the handy roller ball which you can buy from the balance me site, makes it easier to apply on the face. I really don't like putting the oil on your hands and the hands getting all sticky and more on your hands than the face. This oil helps to repair my skin and also makes my face glow. Oil's are not to be missed out these are amazing products.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir - Beauty Elixir is a hyped product and deserves it, this water spray is fantastic at giving your face radiance and life when it is looking a little dried out. This is fantastic over and under make up and will wake your face right up.

Le Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + - Spots be gone! This stuff is the stuff of the gods. Paired with a mask and a moisturiser you will have no problem at all with spots as effaclar targets and kills those red evil pimples. This is something you should always have in your collection.

Super Facialist Vitamin C + Skins Brighter Cleansing Oil.  - If you want make up of your face and you don't want to pay for bioderma, this stuff is the business and in my opinion a heck of a lot better than these Micelular waters which really are full of so many nasty toxins. This is all natural and the oils blend together with your make up to get it off your face. It doesn't smell too bad either.

HYGEINE / OTHER -

Japanese Cherry Blossom Eau De Toilette - Not a lot of people talk about body shop for their fragrances but i think they are wrong to think that way. The scents are just at good as anything from any other popular perfume range and better than anything from avon. This scent is such a fresh grown up scent and very floral. I really love wearing this scent and get a lot of compliments.

Sanex Sensitive Roll on Deodorant - I used to be a sure spray girl up until a few years ago, but after noticing this really wasn't doing me any favours, i tried a good few rolls on and this one is honestly the best i have ever tried. I am shocked how an earth such a cheap roll on keeps me fresh all day and beyond but it honestly is the best i have tried yet. I highly recommend this one.

Oral B 3D White Brillance - This is my favourite toothpaste of the moment, it really keeps my teeth pearly and white and protects my teeth. I used to use sensodyne but i was noticing that it was actually making my teeth and gums more sensitive, esentially defeating it's purpose so i decided to change to this one. I have no regrets.

And that is my 2014 favourites...FEW. A lot of products there that have rocked my world. I really hope that you have a great new year and maybe have found some new products to try out.

Disappointing Products of 2014

We've all been there, purchasing a product and it not being quite up to what we expected. Here are products that have disappointed me this past year:

The Visible Difference set from Elizabeth Arden - I was drawn to this set as I know everyone raves about Elizabeth Arden and but all i can say is this duo really let me down. After like the first couple of use's i really did not enjoy using it. The exfoliator stuck to my skin and did not exfoliate my skin at all. The beads would not come off and it took more than 5/6 washes as well as using a face cloth. Normally exfoliators for me take one good rinse and i finish it off with a cloth to make sure and i am done. The toner just made my skin feel dry and i did not notice any results at all to my skin. I would advise you avoid this set and range because it really is just not worth it. The set seems like a good deal at £15 (might be a little more because i bought it at £12 from £15 at the start of this year) but honestly it's really not.

Yes to Cucumber Daily Gel Cleanser - So like everyone i have used to face wipes and LOVED them so i thought i would give this Cleanser the same range a try. I soon regretted my decision. The gel was so difficult to use in all aspects. The product was extremely runny, in a way like water which makes it really difficult to work with. Getting this product to foam up to clean your face is really difficult and when it does the foam is very little and it did not really clean my face at all. Removing this product is more of a nightmare than getting make up off, it really turns into glue!  I could not see any results from using the product on my skin. All i can say is, the wipes are good but this is really not. It has put me off trying any of the other items in their range but if there is anything please let me know.

The Glamour Beauty Box sample version of the HD Brows Eye and Brow Pallette (Link to the full sized product only available now) - Did anyone work out how to use this product? as i'm sure not just I received this in one of the first glamour beauty boxes from latest in beauty. I have no idea why this kit is now on sale as a full sized kit AT ALL. The brow colour is far too dark for anyone who has brown eyebrows, even though it seems more advertised at someone that would have. Not just that the three other colours which i assume are for eyeshadows were some of the worst i have ever had to work with. The colours in the set would not blend at all. This is a Really disappointing product, i hope they have change the formula of these for the full size set i honestly cannot think of anything worse to put on my brows or around my eyes. I think i'd stick to the Archery from Soap and glory or a new favourite from Eyelur for brows because this kit makes HD look Analogue.

Maybeline New York Fit Me Concealer - I am not sure about where the hype about this product came from in all honesty because this is a dry skin clinger. I picked up two shades, fair and sand and neither of these two concealer's looked even close to my fair skin tone, the shade range does need drastic improvement.  The concealer was easy to blend and all but i noticed after a few hours the effects were gone and if i had dry skin, this would cling to it and make my skin look herrendous. Stick to the Collection concealer or NARS concealer, these two have an amazing shade range and do not cling to dry skin patches.

Jessica Damaged Nails Kit - After bad hiccup with some shellac nail removal, I bough this kit with high hope that It would help my nails restore back to full health. I used this kit for good three months, as well as buffing my nails and this really did kit really did nothing to help the process. It seems this kit is one of those, let's attempt to mask the problem and not fit it. My nails still looked damaged and were not healing as the kit claims. If you want any help at all get the Dr Lewinn's kit, it's miles better than this tragic trio and was one that helped my nails to recover.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Mascara - I got this free when i bought a foundation and concealer from the Rimmel and i wish i had never opened it. This is the definition of clump central, a mere few weeks after i opened it. Now I have had mascara's that have lasted a good few months before drying up and going clumpy, so i was extremely disappointed with this product. On the plus side the brush design it's just a shame that the product did not match to the standard of the brush.  I'd advise looking further for mascara.

Soap and Glory Sexy Motherpucker Lip Lacquers - Now i love the sexy mother pucker gloss sticks, so when i saw these i thought i would give them a go. This product a bit like the yes to cucumber gel and was was basically like glue, but instead of sticking to my lips, it stuck to the container. The gloss was sticky and horrible and you could not apply it at all to the lips. It's a real disappointment for me because the majority of soap and glory products have really hit leaps and bounds above some of the more high end products for me but this one did not make the cut. Try the Rimmel Lip Laqure's for a great budget find.

So there you have it, another year closes and these are the products I wish I had never met in 2014. Keep away from these when out shopping because they will give you nothing but none refundable trouble.

Happy New year.

Beauty Haul - FeelUnique and Selfridges

So as it was Black Friday and Cyber Monday, i decided to have a look for some deals and see what items i could get my hands on.

I first turned to FeelUnique which had a great 15% off all items in the sale and this were the goodies i picked up

COLAB Dry Shampoo Tokyo 200ml- I have a love hate relationship with dry shampoo and since my favourite Dove Dry Shampoo is really hard to come by, i thought i would pick up this shampoo to try.. I really hope this will be as good as i have heard many great reviews.and i have high expectations for this product, especially as this product claims to have a invisible sheer formula.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum 30ml - Vichy have impressed me with their shampoo and now i have ventured to see what their skincare has to hold. I have not ventured too far into serum's but since the only one i have tried has a been a few samples of BioEffect EGF serum which is sadly £125 a go for 15ml! I was on the hunt for something more in my budget.

Caudalie Moisturizing Toner 400ml - I love Caudalie, their body moisturiser and of course the most highly rated product the Beauty Elixar is one of my all time favourite product's i wanted to see what the toner was like. This is one step i usually skip in my routine and i really want to put it in, and this will give me the chance to give this a whirl.

I also got the Loreal moisturiser sample to try and the Guerlain Perfume, which were two samples i wanted to give a shot as you can never try too many of either and i am always after a better moisturiser and a new perfume scent, so hopefully these will be ones i do like too.

Bare mineral SPF15 Original Foundation in the shade Light - I could not believe Selfridges deal on bare mineral's this christmas for £12, which gives you a full size pot of mineral foundation (usually retails from like £18-27), I had to take up this offer and stock up as this is my favourite foundation. The offer is still on but sadly the shade changes from time to time. From the look's of offer and from my delivery it appears they are having an overstock clear out on this product, so be prepared for two completely different lids like the ones above. Both are the same product and the same shade, so do not panic when you get these.

DISCLAIMER: These items were purchased by me and for me. This is not a sponsored post and all opinions on the items talked about are mine. The photography in this post was shot by myself for this blog.
