Real Techniques - Modern Natural Palette

You may know Sam and now Nic's for making the wonderful real technique brushes which have taken the world by storm. The quality and price of their products is second to none and now the girls are taking on the make up world, with a palette which they say are limited edition (they are still in stock though!)

The pallet i am reviewing is the modern natural palette, however the night owl palette looks as stunning. I tend to lean more natural colours with my makeup in general and this is a great starter kit for those getting into make up.

You are first greeted by the outer boxing, it looks sleek and sheen. It really gives you that limited edition feel.

The box itself is really great and simple and not just that it pretty much includes everything you need to get started. The pallet includes, 3 long shimmery eye shadows, a velvety matte eye shadow, a soft eyeliner, a blush and a cream higher. But thats not all, the set includes two sheer lip glosses!!

The colour payoff on the eye shadows are incredible, the shimmer really are great to build on, the white is perfect for inner corners and brow bone and the velvety brown eyeshadow is a great base (if blended well). The blush is really pigmented and the highlighter gives off an excellent glow.

All around this is a great starter kit for any make up lover who's is just getting started or for someone who really loves makeup to add something to their collection. I really hope these aren't so limited edition and the girls branch out into full sized lose pots and even bigger pallets.

I do feel though that you don't really get a huge amount of product for you price, so if you become addicted, this product will go and quick. This could be rectified simply by the packaging, the packaging is bulky and a little wasteful. I believe tips could be taken from other palettes such as the urban decay or revolution palettes which give you what (and more) for what you pay for.

Retailing on the real techniques online store only at $25 (Around £17)

And if you order now you get a free pointed liner brush :) (A lovely little add on but not for repeat offenders ;) )
